It may be Labor Day, but there are two High School sporting events scheduled today. Thanks to a schedule adjustment and planning, Jerry Litton Memorial Stadium will host two sporting events today. The Freshman Football Team will face Putnam County at 3:00 pm and the Boys Soccer Varsity and Junior Varsity teams will host Maryville with the Varsity Soccer at 6:00pm followed by the Junior Varsity.
Speaking of planning ahead, Chillicothe will be hosting at least two fall district sports tournaments.
Girls Softball and Boys Soccer tournaments will be hosted by Chillicothe.
Volleyball will be at Benton, Girls Golf and Girls Tennis have not yet been decided, and Cross Country has not yet been assigned.
