The Chillicothe Boys Cross Country team finished third and the Lady Hornets fifth in their Home Invitational meet. The Boys race had 9 complete teams and 13 incomplete teams. Lexington won the Boys team title with 52. Chillicothe finished with 92, led by Cain Evans in 5th, Austin Lyford 12th, Clayton Savage 19th, Carter Shipers 27th, Alton Keller 29th and Logan Gregory 40th. A Lexington runner won the individual title in a time of 19:25.6
On the girls side Chillicothe was 5th out of 7 complete teams with a score of 88. There were 14 incomplete girls teams. Chillicothe was led by Kadence Shipers in 8th, Aliyah Briner in 9th, Juliann Gabrielson in 16th, Yoo Jung Lee in 17th and Alice Hurtgen in 38th.
Brookfield had just two girls in the race. Samantha Sharp was first and her teammate finished 2nd.
In the Boys JV race Landyn Peterson was 6th. For the Girls JV, Karissa Fostek was 3rd.
