In Chillicothe Middle School sports, the CMS 8th Grade Volleyball A-team improved to 60 with a 25-9 and 25-16 win over Richmond.
Ava Leamer had eight points, Emerson Staton with seven, Lyla Beetsma, Emerie Kale and Kianna Keith had four points each and Carman Woodworth had three points, according to information provided by the Coach.
The CMS Softball A-team beat Trenton 9 to 1. Chillicothe had nine runs off five hits with five walks and six RBI. Trenton had just one run off two hits with one walk and ten strike outs.
