The Chillicothe Lady Hornets golf team are the Midland Empire Golf Champions this season.
The Chillicothe team shot a 444 at the St Joseph Country Club to beat Maryville by two strokes and Savannah by four. Benton was Fourth, Cameron Fifth and Lafayette Sixth.
Skyler Powers led Chillicothe with a 100 to finish Third. Izzy Montgomery was Sixth with a 103, Clara Leamer was Ninth with a 115. Other Chillicothe scores were Abby Hayen with a 125 and Essie Hicks with a 136.
A Savannah Golfer was the conference medalist with an 88.
