The Chillicothe Lady Hornets Tennis season came to an end with a 5-2 sectional loss to Harrisonville, played in Marshall.
In doubles play, Cami Carpenter and Leah Lourenco lost 5-8, Rylee Washburn and Izzy Garr lost 4-8 Olivia Anderson and Audrey Snider lost 6-8.
In singles competition Carpenter lost 3-6, 4-6 Washburn lost 6-7(6-8) and 6-7(5-7), Lourenco won 6-3, 6-2 and Garr won 6-1 6-2. Once Harrisonville reached five wins, the meet was stopped.
