Chillicothe Police had a somewhat quiet holiday weekend.
Friday, December 24th, 2021
3:17 AM, Officers conducted a check of an occupied vehicle at a business in the 1000 block of South Washington Street. Occupants of the vehicle were cooperative with officers and officers seized a small amount of drug paraphernalia.
2:49 PM, Officers responded to a business in the 1000 block of South Washington Street for a report of a person trespassing. Officers located the subject, who had left the store, and advised the subject of a trespassing notice.
3:22 PM, Officers assisted the Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services with an unresponsive person in the 1500 block of Calhoun Street. It was determined the subject was deceased of unknown causes. Investigation continues.
6:07 PM, Officers received a report of a runaway juvenile in the 1100 block of Bryan Street. The juvenile was located a short time later and returned to their parents.
10:47 PM, Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of South Washington Street. The driver was issued a warning for expired registration and the officer seized drug paraphernalia.
11:03 PM, Officer conducted a well-being check of a subject in the 1100 block of First Street. The subject was found to be fine.

12:01 AM, Officer conducted a traffic stop at Highland and Calhoun. The driver was issued a warning for defective equipment.
11:56 AM, Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Dorney Drive. Officers determined the incident to be a verbal argument between family members at a Christmas get-together and no arrests were made.
10:35 PM, Officer received a report of a noise complaint in the area of Waples and Conn. Officers contacted a resident and advised of the complaint.

1:27 AM, Officers received a report of a civil child custody issue in the 600 block of South Washington Street. Parties were advised to contact their child custody attorney.
12:07 PM, Officers received a report of a missing child in the 1100 block of Comstock. The child was located in the residence.
3:49 PM, Officer responded to the 100 block of East Jackson Street regarding a call of littering.
4:57 PM, Officers assisted MSHP and the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department with an investigation in the 1300 block of North Washington Street.
7:26 PM, Officer assisted a stranded motorist at North 65 highway and Blackfoot Drive.
8:09 PM, Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of South Washington Street. The driver was issued a warning for speeding.
8:13 PM, Officer conducted a well-being check of a subject in the 1500 block of Bryan Street. The subject was safe.
8:17 PM, Officers responded to the 1100 block of Calhoun regarding a property exchange. Officer advised property was exchanged without issues.
9:18 PM, Officers conducted a well-being check of a subject in the 1800 block of Borden Street. The subject was found to be safe.
10:00 PM, Officer received a call of a vehicle being driven in a careless manner in the 1600 block of North Washington Street. The vehicle was located and the officer observed no traffic violations.
11:03 PM, Officer conducted a well-being check in the 1300 block of Dorney. The resident was found to be safe.
11:11 PM, Officers responded to a report of a business intrusion alarm in the 600 block of South Washington Street. Officers found the business to be secure and the alarm was reactivated.
