Storm Warning Siren On City Hall Fixed

The storm warning siren on top of Chillicothe City Hall has been repaired after being damaged during a recent storm. Fire Chief Eric Reeter says the problem is that the siren dates back to the 1960s. He estimated a new storm siren could cost up to $35,000 dollars.
Mayor Teresa Kelly expanded the discussion by suggesting the entire city hall building, sometime in the future, might be in the need of improvements.
She stated that she realizes it would be a big project. but eventually, the council will need to look at renovation and remodeling of City Hall.
She encouraged council members to stop into City Hall and give the building a good looking over.
Mayor Kelly knows there are other things that need attention first, but City Hall renovations will likely be needed at some future point.
