Two people were injured in a one vehicle accident in Saline County Friday afternoon, The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a car driven by 58-year-old Michael R. Markcum of Trenton ran off of Missouri 41 north of Route NN in Saline County at 12:25 in the afternoon. The driver over corrected, ran off the other side of the road and overturned.
Markcum suffered moderate injuries and a passenger, 60-year-old Vickie Johnson of Salisbury suffered serious injuries. Both were taken to University Hospital by Saline County EMS.
