A men’s recovery home has opened in Chillicothe. Abba House is located on Clay Street and President, Joe Burkholder says it is a restorational ministry.
The program goals include:
Spirituality, save enough money for a down payment plus damage deposit on an apartment or house, to Leave Freedom City clean and sober and with a full-time job to meet their financial needs.
He says they are aware of the perception of this type of program and they work to address those concerns.
In addition, those in the program are giving back to the community on weekends through volunteer activities.
