CHS Boys And Girls Cross Country Teams Win 26th Annual Hornet Invitational

The Chillicothe High School boys and girls Cross Country teams won the 26th Annual Hornet Invitational on Tuesday night at Simpson Park.

Out of 85 Varsity runners all 7 Chillicothe Boys Runners medaled, with Freshman Luke Thompson winning another Varsity race and Sophomore Cain Evans taking Runner Up.

The Varsity Boys finished with 32 points, with 2nd place Benton at 107 & Lawson in 3rd at 113 points.

The ladies also finished in 1st place, with 45 team points, beating Glasgow & Kirksville, both with 82 points.
Trace Akers was the lone JV runner tonight and he finished 3rd.
