Sliced Bread Day activities are taking place today in Chillicothe.
Dustin Rennels from the museum says are hosting the Bread Baking Contest, Sliced Bread Pageant, Heritage Day, and an Innovation Fair.
The Bread Baking Contest is open to youth and adults, with 18 prizes to be awarded. Categories include Youth, Adult, Sweet, and Savory.
The Sliced Bread Pageant is open to ages 0-18 and includes prizes and scholarship money.
The Heritage Day activities include Traditional Arts Demos, Olde Tyme Swap Meet, Vintage Cars, and More.
The Innovation Fair is open to ages 4-18 and includes scholarship money and 3 awards.
Saturday, Amy Supple From the Chillicothe Visitor’s Region says there will be activities at the Sliced Bread Innovation Center on 1st Street.
