Caldwell County deputies booked 46-year-old Ronnie Gene Smith of Chillicothe into the Caldwell County Detention Center to begin serving his 5 days of shock time following a guilty plea on a charge of 4th Degree Assault. Smith is also sentenced to 2 years of probation.
