Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

Ninety-four calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Monday.  Some of the calls include:

At 9:26 a.m., Officers had a vehicle towed from the 600 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy.

At 11:18 a.m., a person called the Police Department to provide information about a scam call they received. The caller claimed the person had not turned in their required annual form to the Livingston County Assessor’s Office and they would receive a penalty.  The man called the Assessor’s Office and confirmed their form had already been turned in and received.

While this is the only notification of this particular scam, the Police Department wants to inform the citizens of this possible scam. Never give out personal information or access to your finances to unknown individuals.

At 12:10 p.m., Officers were dispatched to possible juveniles trespassing in the 10 block of Elm St. Officers responded and discovered it was not a juvenile but an adult who was informed to leave the area.

Officers conducted traffic stops, business checks and responded to 94 calls for service on Monday, April 7th, 2025.
