Chillicothe Police Report For Thursday

Sixty-nine calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Thursday.  The calls include:

Early Thursday morning, officers made a traffic stop near Clay and Walnut Streets, where one woman was taken into custody and later released with citations.

Police also responded to a reported scam on Litton Road, where a resident lost about $2,000 after being told she had won a prize and was instructed to buy gift cards. Officers provided guidance, but no formal report was taken.

A two-vehicle crash at Washington and Waples Streets caused minor traffic disruption, though no injuries were reported.

Later in the morning, officers took a report of lost property involving a missing wallet believed to have been left in a patrol vehicle, but it was not located.

And during a separate traffic stop, officers discovered a driver with active warrants from another jurisdiction. However, the warrants were outside the extradition area, and the driver was released.
