Ninety-seven calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Tuesday,
Calls included an attempted burglary investigation at a business in the 500 block of South Washington Street just after 1:30 a.m. Officers responded to a commercial alarm and discovered signs of an attempted break-in. The investigation continues.
Police also took a fraud report late Tuesday morning, which remains under investigation.
Other calls included reports of possible juvenile trespassing on Country Club Drive, a parking complaint on Comstock Street, a disturbance along West Business 36 Highway, a suspicious person near Sunset Avenue and Bryan Street, and a harassment complaint at Simpson Park.
Officers also conducted a well-being check on Calhoun Street Tuesday evening, where the individual contacted stated they were okay and did not need assistance.
