The purchase of a new street truck was approved by the Chillicothe City Council. Street Superintendent Jeff Gillespie presented the ordinance to the council.
A 2024 with 2 miles for $67,436
The price was just over half of the budgeted $120,000. Gillespie says they still need to outfit the truck for winter plowing.
Still have to get a snow plow and spreader.
The truck already has the dump bed they were looking for and was ready for pick-up on Wednesday at the dealership in Columbia.
