City Boards Handle Variance And Ordinance Reviews

A review of the Tiny Home Ordinance was handled by the Chillicothe Planning and Zoning Commission.  Code Officer Gil Gates says the board approved changes presented by the city attorney.

Only in Mixed Use, must be 720 sq/ft or more, and built on site.

The Commission also reviewed another ordinance.

Clarifying definitions and requirements.

These ordinances will need to be presented to the City Council for final approval.

 

Adjustments have been made for a property on Second Street.  The Chillicothe Board of Adjustments reviewed the request for a Lot Size Variance at 310 Second Street.  Codes Officer Gil Gates explained the actions taken.

Split the property into two lots.

With the variance approved, no further action is required by the city.
