Council Approves New Street Equipment

A new piece of equipment for the Chillicothe Street Department was approved by the City Council.  A Seal Master Dual Squeegee machine will cost $74, 990.  The final price was nearly $5,000 above the budgeted amount.  Auditor Allison Jefferies explained how the difference will be paid.

Paid from Capital Improvement and the excess from Streets Reserve.

The vote was 4-0 to approve the purchase.  The machine will take five weeks to build.
