The next Livingston County Prosecuting Attorney, Andrew Perkins, met with the Livingston County Commissioners to discuss an early start in his new position. Perkins was the only person to file for the position and would normally take office following the election. Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas says they are discussing the possibility of an earlier start to get up to speed on the position, working with the current prosecutor.
Douglas says nothing has been finalized at this time.
