Filing For August Primary Opens In February

While the filing for the April Municipal election closed on December 30^th.  Those considering filing for some state and county offices that are part of the August Primary will have their opportunity to file beginning February 24^th.  For the local area

Filing for:

• State Auditor,
• 6^th District US Congressional Representative
• State Senator for the 12^th District
• Missouri House Representative for the 7^th District

Will all file in Jefferson City at the Secretary of State’s Office.

Filing at the Livingston County Clerk’s Office will include:

• Associate Circuit Judge
• Presiding County Commissioner
• County Clerk
• Clerk of Circuit Court
• Recorder of Deeds
• Prosecuting Attorney
• Township and Ward Committeeman and Committeewoman

Filings will also be accepted for vacant offices due to the expiration of terms, death, or resignation.
