A Conservation Reserve Program through the USDA opens next week, while another is already in the sign-up phase. Livingston County FSA Executive Director Raysha Tate says the General CRP sign-up will open Monday.
Begins March 9th to April 14th, and is for whole field situations.
The general sign-up is a competitive program and is determined on a national level.
Already in enrollment is the Continuous CRP Sign-up that opened February 12th.
Is open until the end of September. It is more for erodible situations.
The continuous sign-up program is on a first-come basis, but it may be reaching capacity.
