The Grand River Historical Society Museum is the recipient of $15,000 in grant funding from the Missouri Humanities to help with the Bethel AME Black History Church Museum. Curator Dustin Rennels says the funds will be used in many ways.
A display of black history and improvements to the church building.
Rennels says the grant does require matching funds.
Still $7,000 to go.
