Guilty Plea & Sentencing Included In Arraignment

A Guilty plea and sentencing were part of the arraignment in Livingston County Circuit Court for Jermond L. Lewis of Kansas City on Thursday.

 

The case against Lewis was moved to Livingston County Circuit Court on Thursday on the charges of possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, resisting or interfering with an arrest, DWI, no valid license, and no valid plates.

 

He entered a guilty plea to the charge of tampering with physical evidence.  The prosecutor recommended a sentence of 4 years in prison.  The Judge approved the plea and sentence recommendation.  The sentence will run consecutive to all others. The remaining charges were dismissed.
