A single vehicle crash in Sullivan County left two with minor injuries Saturday morning. State Troopers report the crash occurred at about 11:45 am on Missouri Highway 11, two miles southeast of Winigan, when the driver, a 20-year-old man, ran off the left side of the road and the car overturned and struck a tree. The driver and his passenger, an 18-year-old man, were both taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. They were wearing safety belts.
A Kansas City man was arrested in Daviess County Saturday afternoon on multiple charges and a warrant. State Troopers arrested 42-year-old Albin B. Kos at about 2:23 pm for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia, no valid license, no insurance, and on Jackson County warrants for alleged failure to appear on charges of speeding and no valid license. He was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail pending the posting of bond.
