Polo Woman Sentenced On Probation Violation From Animal Neglect Conviction

A Polo woman who had pled guilty in May to 10 counts of animal neglect or abandonment was sentenced in Caldwell County court on a probation violation.

Sharon Lynn Martin had been sentenced to 15 days on each of the 10 counts.  That sentence was suspended, and she was placed on two years of probation.

On June 11th, a probation violation warrant was issued, and there was a motion to revoke her probation.  Martin was sentenced to 15 days in jail on count one.  The sentences on counts 2 – 10 continue as probation for 2 years.
