Livingston County Sheriff’s Report For Second Half Of April

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office reports a mix of domestic incidents, theft investigations, and multiple arrests in the latter half of April.

Deputies responded to several domestic disturbances during the period, most of which were verbal. One case involved a reported violation of an order of protection, which has been forwarded to the prosecutor for possible charges. Another incident in Chillicothe involved an altercation tied to animal care.

Authorities are also investigating a burned UTV discovered along Highway C that was later reported stolen.

Arrests during the period were largely traffic-related, including several drivers stopped for excessive speeds on US 36 – some exceeding 100 miles per hour. Additional arrests included driving while revoked, driving while intoxicated as a habitual offender, and individuals taken into custody on outstanding warrants.

Most individuals arrested were processed and released on summons or after posting bond, with court dates pending.
