McElhaney Case Moved To Sullivan County

Arraignment in Linn County Circuit Court was held Tuesday for Kullen Joe McElhaney on charges that include alleged abuse or neglect of a child resulting in death and child endangerment resulting in death.  He was also charged with alleged abuse or neglect of a child resulting in serious emotional or physical injury and child endangerment resulting in serious physical injury.

In the arraignment, McElhaney entered a plea of not guilty.  He also requested a change of venue.  That request was granted by Judge Terry Alan Tschannen, moving the case to Sullivan County, but pretrial matters will be handled in Linn County.
