Missouri Releases November Unemployment Report

Unemployment numbers for November 2025 are mixed across the local counties compared to the September figures.  The release was delayed due to the Federal Government Shutdown.

The Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development released the November unemployment figures.

Looking at the area counties, from lowest to highest…

Livingston………. 3.0%, down from 3.1% in September

Daviess…………… 3.1%, up from 2.9% in September

Chariton…………. 3.2%, steady from September

Linn……………….. 3.2%, down from 3.6% in September

Sullivan………….. 3.3%, steady from  September

Carroll……………. 3.5%, up from 3.4% in September

Grundy…………… 3.5%, down from 3.6% in September

Caldwell………….. 4.5%, up from 3.4% in September

The State of Missouri is at 3.5%, and the US unemployment figure is at 4.3%.  Both are steady from the September figures.
