The new Chillicothe 2nd Ward Council representative is Weston Baker. Mayor Theresa Kelly presented her recommendation to the council at Monday’s meeting. Kelly says she received letters from five men who wanted to serve on the council.
The council approved the recommendation on a vote of 4-0.
Baker was sworn in following the executive session. He spoke briefly following the swearing-in.
