CARES Act Business Grants – Round Two

A second round of CARES Act business grants were approved by the Livingston county Commissioners with guidance from the CARES Act oversight committee.  Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas says in Round 1, there were 76 applicants and they distributed $450,000 in funding. City Council Approves Agreement For Cares Act Grant Funding

The City of Chillicothe approved an intergovernmental agreement with Livingston County for the Cares Act Grant Funding.  The funding totaling nearly $1.8 million was allocated to Livingston county.  City Administrator Darin Chappell says the city will receive up to $350,000 to help with expenses that are COVID-19 related and not part of the City’s budget.
