The dedication ceremony for the new Chillicothe Elementary School includes a few dignitaries, including school board members, representatives from the Architecture firm Hollis & Miller and Lawhon Construction – the company that built the school. The new building was constructed at a cost of $13.8 million dollars. Superintendent Dr Roger Barnes says the reaction to the new building from the public has been very good.
The dedication included members of Chillicothe Boy Scouts leading the Pledge of Allegiance and the introduction of several of those involved in the project.
