A Joplin woman had minor injuries in a single vehicle accident in Daviess County Wednesday morning. Forty-one year old Misty Turpin of Joplin was treated at Cameron Regional Hospital following the accident on Interstate 35, north of Altamont. The accident happened about 11:25 am when Turpin was northbound and ran off the west side of the road and then back onto the road, she overcorrected and went back into the median. She was wearing a safety belt.
