Chillicothe High School Presents Academic Achievement Awards
The Chillicothe High School Academic Achievement Banquet honored 177 students receiving their Academic Letter Tuesday night. Principal Dan Nagel says this award is for those that put in extra effort in the classroom.
The guest speaker for the banquet was a 1994 CHS graduate, Christopher Dixon, the Chief Operating Officer for eLectio Publishing in Springfield. Dixon says it is an honor to address the students and he spoke to them about their mindset, and setting goals.
Dixon provided the students with several points to ponder, one of which was to “Never get too comfortable and never stop moving forward.” He also reminds us all to not compare our journey through life with others. He says you cannot win, because your journey is very different.
