If you had a real Christmas Tree and don’t want to just throw it out, the Missouri Department of Conservation has a way to put those trees to good use. Cliff Wilson from the Fisheries Department of the MDC says they will collect the trees beginning the first full week in January.
Wilson says land owners with ponds can also use their Christmas tree in their own pond.
