The Trenton City Council approved bids for two water projects this spring, both were awarded to M&M Utilities in Chillicothe. City Administrator Ron Urton says the first project is a water main project on 8th Street. He says they will be doing this with a sewer main project.
Urton says they are also clearing up potential water line problems on 9th Street, which is also Missouri Highway 6.
Urton says the council also approved the specs needed as they prepare to go out for bid on residential trash service.
The discussion on intergovernmental loans and the report from the North Central Missouri Development Alliance Director were tabled due to the weather.
And the council heard the report on Net Metering, which is the electric input to the city utility from residential solar and wind sources.
