Chillicothe R-II Earned An “A” In The State’s Annual Performance Report

The Chillicothe R-II school District scored a solid “A” on the APR.  Each year the District has testing of the students and the district also reports on a number of areas for assessment by the State of Missouri.  The results are compiled by the state and the district receives their report card, know as the APR or Annual Performance Report.  Assistant Superintendent Dr Zack McMains says the results are normally released in June or July, but the results from last year’s testing were delayed by the state.

McMains says the district did well overall.

He says there are a few areas that need some work.

Because the results of last year’s testing were so late, Chillicothe has less time to make the adjustments in their curriculum prior to this year’s testing, but McMains says all school districts are in the same situation
