North Central Missouri College in Trenton announced the Commencement Speakers for this year’s graduation ceremonies.
Vice Chairman for the Coordinating Board for Higher Education Mike Thomson and the Chief Executive Officer for the Critical Access Region of the St. Luke’s Health System, Steven M. Schieber, will give the commencement addresses on May 11th. Chairman Thomson will speak at the 9:00 am ceremony and Mr. Schieber will be the 1:00 pm speaker. Both ceremonies will take place at the Ketcham Community Center on the NCMC campus near downtown Trenton.
Schieber was appointed Chief Executive Officer for Hedrick Medical Center of Saint Luke’s Health System in September 2015, and Chief Executive Officer for Wright Memorial Hospital in August 2018. In January of 2019, he was named CEO over all of the critical access hospitals for Saint Luke’s Health System.
Thompson was appointed to the Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education In 2016 and presently serves as Vice Chairman. Â He is a member of the Missouri Career and Technical Education Advisory Board and recently became Chairman of the Northwest Missouri Enterprise Facilitation group, which is a non-profit organization that provides free confidential consultation and counseling for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
