Rural Address Signs Making A Difference

An ongoing project of displaying address signs for rural Livingston County residences is having a positive response from emergency service agencies.
Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox says the address signs on rural mailboxes are easier for emergency personnel to find during a service call.

The signs are available locally and Sheriff Cox says the consistency of the size and type of signs is also helpful to his officers

The signs are available at the Livingston County Health Center which has worked with county officials on the signs. To find out how you can obtain one of the signs, call the Livingston County Health Center at 646-5506 during normal business hours.
