State Troopers reported one injury accident and one arrest in the area counties Monday.
A Trenton woman had moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident Monday morning in Livingston County. Thirty-six-year-old Tressie Moots of Trenton was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment following the accident that happened about 10:00 am, on Route D, 12 miles west of Chillicothe. According to the Highway Patrol, Moots was northbound and failed to make it through a turn, overcorrected and ran off the west side of the road and hit a tree. She was not wearing her safety belt.
A Milan man was arrested by State Troopers in Sullivan County Monday morning. At about 8:55 am, Troopers arrested 22-year-old Austin Medrano for alleged driving while revoked, possession of drug paraphernalia – prior offender, no insurance and no seatbelt. Medrano was processed and released.
