A St Joseph woman was flown to St. Luke’s on the Plaza for treatment of serious injuries following a single-vehicle accident on US 36, just west of Chillicothe Friday night. The accident happened about 10:00 pm as 40-year-old Brandy Wilfong was eastbound and was overtaking another vehicle. She swerved to avoid the vehicle and crossed the centerline and went into the ditch, striking a guardrail, then crossed the road a couple more times and striking guard rails before stopping. Wilfong was not wearing a safety belt.
