How To Close Out The School Year Under COVID-19

The Chillicothe R-II School Board discussed how students will return Chromebooks and other materials to the school and how students will retrieve items that were left in desks and lockers.  Superintendent Dan Wiebers says they have been talking with the Livingston County Health Center for guidance.  The plan approved by the board includes:

For High School and Middle School –

Seniors will return items on May 7th

8th Grade and Juniors on May 11th

7th Grade and Sophomores May 12th

6th Grade and Freshman on May 13th.

A make-up day will be on May 14th

Principal Dan Nagel talked about how that may work.

Mr Wiebers says the Elementary staff will need to get into the buildings at various times.  That will begin May 4th and continue to the 15th.

The date for the elementary drop-off and pick-up was not set at this time.
