A Head-on collision in Adair County left four injured Monday evening. State Troopers report the accident happened as 21-year-old Marshall George of Unionville was eastbound on Highway 6 and a westbound vehicle driven by 24-year-old Santiago Gomez of Milan was westbound and crossed the centerline, resulting in the crash. George was not injured, his passenger, 32-year-old Ralph Saavedra of Unionville had serious injuries. Gomez and one of his passengers, 39-year-old Michael Sweetman of Unionville had minor injuries, another passenger, 26-year-old Patricia Smith had moderate injuries. All four were taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center for treatment. Neither driver had insurance.
