Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 111 calls for service Monday.  Some of the calls include:

6:01 am, Officers responded to a one car accident near the 800 block of Business 36 Highway where a vehicle had left the roadway and went down an embankment.  The driver, a 64-year-old Arkansas resident, was not injured and did not possess a valid driver’s license or proper registration on the vehicle.  The vehicle was towed from the scene and the driver cited for the violations and released.

7:49 am, Officer received a reported theft from a vehicle in the 300 block of Calhoun Street.

10:02 am, Subject reporting possible theft of a wallet from in the 1200 block of N. Washington Street.  No report at this time.

12:41 pm, Officer provided a subject a courtesy ride to Hedrick Medical Center who was wanting mental assistance.

2:17 pm, Officer receiving property damage report to a structure in the500 block of Elm Street.  Damage inflicted by spray paint.

4:13 pm, Officer speaking with a person in the 900 block of Woodward Street reporting someone had rummaged through their vehicle.  No report at this time.

4:54 pm, Officer out with an abandoned vehicle in the 1200 block of Monroe Street.  The owner was given a warning to move the vehicle.

5:06 pm, Officer out in the 1700 block of Locust Street where a vehicle struck a utility pole on the parking lot.

6:32 pm, Officer out in the 400 block of Cherry Street for a report of protection order violation by a person in another jurisdiction.  A report was taken to be forwarded to the Prosecutor for charges.

6:39 pm Officer at PD to speak with a person reporting abuse to children which occurred in another jurisdiction.  Information was taken to be forwarded to the proper jurisdiction.
