Farmers Electric “Operation Round-Up” For AYBF

Less than a dollar a month can help pay medical bills for children.  Farmers Electric Cooperative’s Area Youth Benefit Fund began in 1993 to help families to pay medical bills for kids.  Chasity Anderson says the AYBF has been very successful.

Anderson says they have two main fundraisers to support the AYBF.  They have a Dinner and Auction on August 25th and on the 27th will be a Golf Tournament.  In addition, the Cooperative’s Member Owners have an opportunity to participate through Operation Round-Up.

She says on average, the members will pay about $6 into the program each year and it would never be more than $11.88.  Farmer’s Electric Cooperative members that want to know more can call the office at 646-4281.
