Busy Tuesday for Chillicothe Police

Chillicothe Police responded to more than 100 calls for service Tuesday.  Some of the calls include:

2:50 am, Officers performed a well-being check in the 2600 block of North Fair. The subject of the check refused assistance.

4:00 am, Officers responded to a business alarm in the 1000 block of S. Washington that had been triggered by employee.

2:30 pm, Officer performed a motorist assist in the 700 block of Washington St.

5:45 pm, Officer checked on kids playing in storm drain at 1st and Wilson St.  Officers advised the kids to exit culvert and move on.

6:25 pm, Chillicothe Police Officers recovered a bicycle from Samuel and Jameson Street. The owner of the bike is unknown.

7:55 pm, Responded to vacant house in 1200 block of Jackson St. for a cat inside house.  Officers were able to open window for cat to exit house.

8:10 pm, Officer responded to1400 block of Dorney Drive to dog running loose. resident had caught dog and Officer took dog to animal shelter.

9:36 pm, Officers performed a residential security check in the 1100 block of Arcadia.  No problems.

10:45 pm, Reported smoke at residence in 1200 block of Clay Street.  No fire found.

11:45 pm, Officers responded to a possible theft from a business in the 1000 block of Graves St.  Suspects were identified and investigation continues.
