Several Investigations In Chillicothe Police Report

Chillicothe Police responded to 99 calls for service Wednesday

At 12:30 am, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves St. on a report of shoplifting. The suspects had left before officers arrived.  The same suspects were later seen in Brookfield and arrested by Brookfield Police. A Chillicothe officer traveled to Brookfield to continue the investigation and assisted Brookfield on drug charges sought there.

9:00 am, There was a report of dogs running loose in the 1700 block of Webster Street.

11:45 am, Officers responded to the 200 block of Southwest Drive on a report of dogs killing chickens.  The dog was taken to animal shelter and left in their care until the owner could be identified.

6:10 pm, Officers checked the area of Simpson Park and Washington Street on a report of suspicious activity.  Nothing suspicious was located.

8:35 pm, Officers attempted a warrant service in the 100 block of Tenth St.

10:30 pm, Officer stopped a vehicle for traffic violation and determined that the operator was driving while suspended.  The driver was processed at the police department and released with citation.
