Brookfield Police Arrest Two For Trespassing

Shoplifting and trespassing are in the Brookfield Police report.

Monday, officers began an investigation of shoplifting at a business in the 300 block of West Lockling Avenue.  The incident is alleged to have happened at about 5:15 am.  The report states the person walked in, picked up two lighters and walked towards the kitchen.  He placed the lighters in his front pants pocket, grabbed a fountain drink and paid for the drink before exiting the business without paying for the lighters. The investigation is ongoing.

Trespassing was reported early Tuesday morning.  Just before 3:00 am, officers were called to the 600 block of South Clinton Street. They made contact with two people who had been previously been trespassed from the property due to prior incidents. Officers arrested 46 year old Betty Kieffer and 41 year old Kevin Reeves, both of Bucklin. They were processed and released with a summons.
