Troopers Report Two Injured In Separate Accidents Wednesday

A motorcycle accident left the driver with moderate injuries Wednesday at about 4:00 pm in Clinton County.  Fifty-eight year old Donald Proffit of Cameron lost control of his motorcycle due to a medical emergency suffered while riding south on US 69, 4 miles south of Cameron.  According to the report, he ran off the road and hit the ditch and a fence.  He was taken to the Cameron Regional Medical center for treatment.

 

Also in Clinton County, at about 7:40 am, a Plattsburg man had minor injuries in a single vehicle accident on Missouri 116, when he was westbound and ran off the road and hit a mailbox and a utility pole guywire.  21 year old Blake Dickey was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
