Chillicothe Police Report Includes Several Investigations

The Chillicothe Police Report for Thursday includes no arrests, but there were several investigations.

At about 8:30 am, Officers were called to the 200 block of Williams Street for someone having a medical condition.  That person was transported to the hospital for a medical evaluation.

12:50 pm, Officers responded to the 600 block of Business 36 Highway for a hit and run accident.

At 4:55 pm, Officers investigated a possible dog bite in the 1300 block of Jackson Street. No one was bitten in the incident and the dog was returned to the owner.

At 6:10 pm, Officer responded to the 700 block of Webster for an alarm. The building was found to be secure and the alarm was false.

At 7:40 pm, Officers went to the Chillicothe Airport to check on a plane that was supposed to have already landed. Kansas FAA called and stated they had made contact with the pilot and the plane had landed safely.

At 8:40 pm, Officers were called to the 100 block of 12th Street for stealing. The investigation continues.

At about 9:20 pm, Officers responded to the 1800 Borden street for a juvenile that was getting out of control. Officers were able to get the juvenile to calm down and resolve the situation without incident.
