Chillicothe Middle School football teams swept Brookfield in a double-header on the road on Tuesday. The 8th Grade Hornets cruised to a 50-0 win. Griff Bonderer scored a touchdown on a run with a pass to Wyatt Brandsgaard for the conversion. Cayden Potter scored on the next series and Bonderer scored again to make it 22-0.
Bonderer had an interception on defense for a score, giving the Hornets a 28-0 at halftime lead. Scoring in the second half for Chillicothe were Brock Miller, Roger Cox and Corbin Rodenberg.
The Middle School 7th grade Hornets won 14-6. A 45-yard-run from Hagan Atchinson in the second quarter with a Cayden Larson conversion made the score 8-0. In the Third quarter Larson scored on a 15 yard run for a 14-0 lead. A Hornets fumble was recovered and returns by Brookfield for their only score.
